The Witch's Kiss Review...

Sixteeen-year-old Meredith is fed-up with her feuding family and feeling invisible at school – not to mention the witch magic that shoots out of her fingernails when she’s stressed. Then sweet, sensitive Jack comes into her life and she falls for him hard. The only problem is that he is periodically possessed by a destructive centuries-old curse. Meredith has lost her heart, but will she also lose her life? Or in true fairytale tradition, can true love’s kiss save the day?

REVIEW

So this book follows a girl who is the meant to stop a ancient prophecy but nobody has told her anything about it until after it starts.  Her grandmother has wanted to train her as a witch since she came of age.  Her mother denies that she is a witch and wants her to stay out of the situation going on.  So what happens when nobody agrees about what needs to happen?  Can they stop the prophecy?

I enjoyed the book but it left me slightly wanting.  The story line was indeed amazing.  The characters were all extremely well written and thought out.  I did however have an issue with the flow and pace, it wasn't a huge issue.  It just didn't flow easily in my opinion.

All in all I would definitely read more by the author.  I would also recommend the book to anybody who loves a good book about witches and prophecies.  This has a little bit of everything.

4 witchy stars
